"Great location and friendly staff. Room had everything we needed and hotel also has a lovely pool and hot tub plus fire pit and outdoor seating for enjoying the lovely views and sunset. Only downside was the thin walls which meant loud guests woke us up."

"We had a great view facing south. Our room was clean and housekeeping came daily with more coffee pods and fresh towels. Grounds are beautifully landscaped and the staff do a great job keeping the place nice. Coffee shop staff were very friendly. We recommend bringing breakfast items — the restaurant is OK and overpriced. The coffee shop has good drinks and OK pastries"

"My husband had esophageal cancer and needs extra pillows to sleep upright! Every hotel we have ever stayed in has always happily given as many as we need! The night staff (woman) said they didn’t have any extra! I said, you must have a couple somewhere! She said, no, you should have brought your own! She said this after I told her about my husbands esophageal cancer!😡"

"This is the most beautiful location I've ever seen. The view out our front door was breathtaking. Two Adirondack chairs in front of the unit made it the perfect spot to read a book or have a glass of wine. The rooms were very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The only issue is the lack of food options near the property. There are no restaurants or convenient stores to get drinks or snacks within 20 minutes...and be prepared to pay hefty prices for everything! Also no fridge. However, the Lodge makes that clear in its description of the amenities. And the location and view make it worth the inconvenience. We just bought a large water jug and non-perishable snacks in Carmel before the drive up the coast. We would definitely stay there again! "
