"We booked the stay last minute, not really knowing what to expect. We were happily surprised to find a 900 year old castle on the top of the hill, with its own church (which we were given the keys to see ourselves), towers and old hallways. The house was on 3 floors with 4 bedrooms, perfect for the 4 adults and 4 kids in our group, plus a rooftop with amazing views. The staff were super friendly and welcoming. Considering the price, it might be the best value for money place I've ever stayed...

"This was my first time in Italy and first time in Europe in 24 years. I chose this place because of the location not being close to the city and the great amenities. Located in a nice little town of 122 people with its own church next door, this hotel was perfect. Staff was extremely nice and could not have had a better stay"

"The accommodation was just what I needed in terms of quietness and tranquility. However it would have been better if I had my own transportation as using public transport restricted the outings I was able to do. The buses finished early which meant so did I. The host was alright as I only met Daniele. Every thing apart from the room was charged separately. The breakfast was not worth it in my opinion as you get whatever you get, no choice in the matter. "

"If you need a place just to crush it does the job. The place is big and in the town centre so it’s a great location. Communicating with the stuff was challenging as they are not on site, there were long waits to collect the keys. The room is nice and cozy but smelled as it has been closed for a while. It says there’s breakfast included but there isn’t. Kitchenware needs to be refreshed. "

"Excellent Hosts. They did not speak much English which we actually enjoyed as my wife got to try out her Italian. It is a little slice of heaven tucked into the Hillside of Umbria. Lots of extras and the pool was magnificent! If there was ever any stress…Relax Cottage! "
