"Sleek, luxury 5-star hotel with excellent service and great facilities near the Confucius temple. When you check-in, they welcome you with winter melon tea, which was sweet and refreshing. We had the deluxe family queen bedroom, which was super spacious, with two queen-size beds, a long sofa and a dining table area. We were fortunate to be on the higher floors, and had a good view of the city looking South. The bathroom was large with a separate tub and shower, which was nice. The beds were a tiny bit hard but we slept fine. One highlight of the room is the amenities. The hotel provides an array of teas, coffees, cold drinks and snacks, not to mention extra bottles of water plus a water pitcher. (There are water dispensers on every floor.) There’s plenty of towels, a rare thing for hotels these days, plus slippers and bathrobes. Everything made our stay extremely comfortable and we enjoyed every minute here. The only downside of the hotel is that it’s also a popular wedding banquet venue, so the lobby gets crammed up with loud banquet guests, who like to gather and smoke right outside the front entrance, making it unpleasant to get in and out while they’re there. The hotel also shares outdoor spaces with nearby department stores, such as parking entrances, so quite a lot of speeding cars will cross paths with hotel foot traffic, making it dangerous to walk around. But overall, it was a lovely experience, and we would make this our go-to stay in Tainan anytime we visit."
"So there's no real reception to speak of. You need to use the Line app, tell them your info, rhey will message you when it's time to check in with codes to enter the building. No issue, just use Line and a translator if needed.
The building itself and the room were fine. Not much place to hang clothes or store clothes, so you basically live out of your backpack/suitcase.
There is a roof terrace for smoking and a city view, which was nice.
No coffee or anything in the building, thankfully 7-11 is across the street.
Location isn't bad, walking distance to shops and restaurants, some attractions, train station is relatively close (we walked to the train, 1.5km).

"Lovely hotel in a great location. Rooms are a bit outdated but the bed was comfy and the price was excellent. We had a great nights sleep and were pleased with our choice "
"Nice hotel with friendly staff. Arrived later into the evening and was able to get checked in within a few minutes. Pleasantly surprised to get a room upgrade as well! The rooms are exactly as pictured - clean and spacious."
"This was the most comfortable and best four-star hotel we stayed at during our entire trip, with outstanding value for money.
The rooms are very spacious, with both the bedroom and bathroom offering plenty of space. While the décor is not overly luxurious, the room is well equipped with everything you need.
Although the hotel does not provide bottled water, each floor is equipped with a water dispenser offering cold, warm, and hot water at any time, which is very convenient.
The staff provide attentive and thoughtful service.
At check-in, guests are warmly welcomed with a complimentary plate of fresh fruit, which was a lovely touch.
The hotel is very reasonably priced, especially considering that breakfast is included. The breakfast selection is varied, and the dining area is clean and comfortable.
The location is excellent—centrally located with many good restaurants nearby. Major attractions and the train station are within walking distance, making transportation extremely convenient.
Overall, we felt very fortunate to have stayed at this hotel, and would highly recommend it."
