"Smile Hotel Sugamo was the perfect stay for me. It had a comfortable single room, friendly and helpful staff, with convenience stores and a train station nearby. It was easy to travel about Tokyo and even Sugamo had a few nice spots to offer despite its quieter nature. I would highly recommend this hotel and would stay here again."
"🌸 Alba Cerezo was the perfect Tokyo home base.
Quiet, clean, and tucked into a peaceful neighborhood — it gave us space to recharge after every adventure. We loved the cozy layout and how close it was to Ikebukuro without being in the chaos. It felt like our own little hideaway in the heart of Tokyo. Would absolutely stay again. 🏠"
"APA hotels are always a good choice: generally affordable, very convenient locations. Komagome is a good area - residential, convenient, safe, and quiet."

"I recently stayed in April 2025 everyone was nice and very helpful. I felt safe in the area at night when I explored the city being out til 12am. It’s convenient the train station wasn’t far at all I love that I wasn’t far from Shibuya or Shinjuku or Akihabara I love Japan going back😊💕"
"We stayed on 29th floor in a triple room. It was a good size big enough for 3 people and had a nice view over the city. The room was clean. The staff were helpful. Direct access from hotel to Sunshine City mall where you can access the metro which is one stop away from main ikebukuro station. I would recommend accessing hotel via the sunshine city mall as this is easier to find. Also the airport bus stops directly outside the hotel so this is an added bonus to a nice stay. Lifts weren't an issue as there are 2 dedicated to the upper floors. Laundry facilities and family mart also available within the hotel. Would recommend this hotel and ikebukuro for a trip to Japan. Shinjuku and Shibuya are both accessible on train within 10 mins"
"Stayed here 22 years ago on my honeymoon. Came back with our two sons and it is still a fantastic hotel.
Perfect location to see Tokyo with a family.
Staff are amazing. The roof top bar is special. Rooms are great and location is perfect."
