「Location is good, opposite is the ski resort, which has good snow. Overall room was well maintained, public Onsen was nice too. However we came during early ski season, there is barely any restaurants opens. Hotel cafe food is a bit expensive, and not much choice (mainly western). If plan to stay may order half board instead, or tell hotel staff to reserve dinner before 10am」

「The hospitality (service and meals) at Shiganoyu Hotel were amazing. While we did not speak Japanese and the staff did not speak English, they used a translation tool for conversation and didn't let that be a barrier. 「非常有味道的老酒店，女子泡汤在三楼，每天滑雪完毕直接到隔壁泡温泉很方便，从长野车站坐大巴到Sunvelly很容易，但是下车要走一段路门口就游览车，可以开始滑雪！入住酒店建议选择早晚两餐，晚餐是传统的日式料理，我们这次住了五个晚上，每餐都有不一样的内容，非常开心，吃的很舒服！」

「I came to shiga kogen for skiing. The hotel location is excellent. You can have either 3 mins driving to Yokoteyama ski area or 5 mins driving to central area. Other than the location, all staff are very polite, patient and helpful. Some of the staff are able to communicate in English and Cantonese fluently. 「Staff was super friendly. They took us to the ski gear rental shop and back again to return the stuff. Their English was ok, enough to explain what buses to take, recommend pistes, etc. We even received a small gift when leaving. I recommend reserving the 3 meal course.」

「A poor maintained onsen hotel! No towel and locker available in the onsen, need to bring along everything from the room! 「从日本回来一周了，回来就开始忙天忙地的工作，直到前两天收到simaya的含有我们当时拍的照片的邮件。这是第二次去日本第一次去的北海道这一次日本之旅最有感触的也还是在汤田中和旅店老板的相处。我和老公日语英语都不会，真的要谢谢老板不厌其烦的一直变换不同方式和我们交流，环境满分，很传统的日式旅店，我觉得挺宽敞（相对于日本各种10多平方的酒店）位置离温泉街大概500米，走路要十分钟。附近有全家，也有居酒屋这些，但比较少。嗯...早上老板送了我们去看雪猴，但其实我本身就是乐山人，峨眉山有很多猴子拉，去了后猴子没有出来，老板来接到我们后说猴子出来了，让我们去看，但确实是因为我们语言不太通啊哈哈，没有交流的太顺畅，老板只好把我们载回旅店，拿着地图再告诉我们：猴子出来了，你们一定要去看，很棒的。这又再把我们送过去，（门票可以一天多次进出）确实也不枉此行，雪猴很温顺可爱，也很多，比峨眉山的温顺多了，值得一去，...
