「It was pet friendly. The air conditioning worked great. Very poor maintenance. No chair to sit on in the room. The faucet handle fell off when I turned on the water. No bath mat for the floor. It’s just really old and not been taken care of. Sketchy place. Very glad I had a big dog with me.」

「The hotel has a fascinating history. It was walking distance to downtown restaurants and the made-to-order breakfast was amazing. We really enjoyed our stay.」

「They are in the process of redoing the lobby and other amenities but you could tell it was going to be great. I loved that there were front and back door entrances to the rooms, especially traveling with dogs and kids. Overall I enjoyed the location and pet friendly atmosphere!」

「This hotel fell so short of what it promised. The “pet friendly” is not true. There are signs posted at the front of the hotel stating that “Dogs are prohibited on property”, yet they charged us $20.00/night per dog. The floor of the hotel room was disgustingly dirty as I don’t think it has ever been mopped. No carpet anywhere which we initially thought was good until we wiped up water from the floor and our rag was black! The “breakfast” was one day potatoes and sausage and other days scrambled...

「Nice bed, The room was ok, The common areas could do with some deep cleaning or replacing the carpet. The picture they show of the outside is either photoshoped or from years ago. There is also a train that sounds its horn quite offten out the back.」

「The room wasn’t cleaned and no fresh towels for the entire 7 days we were there. The price was the only reason we stayed. The trails end used to be a nice well kept hotel but not now.」
