this hotel appears nice from photos, however, the building was mediocre, there wasn't a dedicated hotel entrance, everything is mixed with the rest of the tower which i believed included both offices and apartments. the main lobby was on the 26th floor, and it wasn't as impressive as many of the highend hotels I have been in around China. I checked-in at 4pm and to my surprise there was only 1 staff at the counter, granted there wasn't a huge lineup, I'm surprised at the lack of staff. The room itself wasn't fantastic either, underwhelming compare to the photos, and just doesn't appear to be up to standard of the level that it is trying to compete at. There was a seemly interesting but complicated and non-sensible lighting control panel which I'm sure is suppose to be nice, but in reality extremely poor in execution, however, beyond all issues, my biggest problem is that the sink area had no hot water, the shower is fine, which is completely unacceptable for a 5 star hotel. Overall, I would avoid this hotel in the future at any price and look else where. The area is surrounded by highend options including Ritz-Carlton, Four Seasons, just to name a few, I thought this property would at least be competitive, but it most definitely wasn't.
