"We liked the areas for sitting outside, to sit with a coffee, talk and relax. It was convenient to have a fridge. A very different accommodation but typical for the island. We enjoyed our stay!"
"Great overall experience - super accommodating staff and their complimentary snack and drink galley throughout the day is a lovely value added amenity "
"Rooms are well appointed with cozy cottage vibe yet modern and clean . My only ask would be rooms should have one full length mirror. The property is beautiful, location amazing. "

"Our stay was everything we were looking for, waterfront, easy on/off the beach from our room, lounge chairs and umbrellas on the beach and nearby pool. Sunsets were amazing, lobster rolls in the piano bar were incredible. One day there was an issue with the kitchen and they brough complimentary spread to the pool area. July is expensive but it was definitely worth it. We live on Long Island and didn't have to deal with flying issues. Just a 2 hour drive and 4 days of relaxing sun....."
"The property is beautiful- was nice to relax in the Adirondack chairs near the marina in the evenings. We stayed in the Grand Suite and everything was spotless and comfortable. As others have said, it is a bit easy to hear your neighbors through the walls at night, but nothing earplugs can’t fix if you’re a light sleeper. The staff were incredible, attentive, and looked after us well. The beds were the most comfortable I’ve ever had in an accommodation. Would definitely return. "
"We’ve stayed at several properties in the Greenport area and this was our first time at Silver Sands; we loved it! The rooms were updated, clean and cute. The beach access was a huge plus, as well as on site restaurants. They don’t charge for parking (as some hotels nearby are starting to do) and the location is central to Greenport Village and the wineries. We went for an anniversary trip and stayed in the motel section but would definitely come back with the kids and try out the bungalows! Overall great trip and would recommend to others; we will be back!"
"We treated ourselves to room service one rainy night and it was great. The housekeeping staff was attentive and professional, one young woman offered to help get my bag upstairs!
Super location for my needs of daily Tracy Anderson studio work
Lovely spot"
"Bill, our host was always available, and happy to give us helpful advice about restaurants and things to do in the area. A really nice guy.The house is in a picture card location on a beautiful creek, yet within a 5 minute scenic walk into the village, or to the waterfront town. Will certainly be back."
