Chinese Culture Theme Hotel
This was my second time staying here. Seems service has gone down a bit. Even the free snacks in the lobby seems to be poorer in selection and quality from before. Though the decor with the Oriental Theme is still nice. Location can be a little far from downtown Shanghai if most of your meetings are down that way. The one good thing is a new mall opened right next door giving more choice of F&B, Coffee shops and even a supermarket.

Great location, near two metro stations with 10 minutes to jing'an and city centre. Great food nearby and the room was very clean and relaxing. Wifi was no problem and the staff were amazing, always helpful and understanding.

New hotel with an oriental art theme. Slightly hidden behind a commercial building and hotel signage is not that noticeable from the main road. Service is ok but not fantastic. Location is quiet and not much around the hotel. Thankfully a new small mall just opened next door providing quite good food options. Room decor is nice.

The service here was fantastic. It was very convenient to the business district where I had a meeting. Expedia said the breakfast was included, but the charge I received for having to pay "extra' for the breakfast was actually less than what Expedia had quoted me.
A taxi from downtown to this hotel was c. $10.

The ambience inside the hotel is awesome, a good fusion of modern and Chinese. Staff is nice but stay for too short a time, cannot give too much of comments. Room is clean and tidy. Faciclities are good.recommended.

Rooms and facilities are one to one as like on the pictures. Service is perfect, they speak English very well. Area is also good, tight next to 2 shopping mall with chinese but also western restaurants.

All of staff are so kind and they can speak english.
Minibar (which is free) was full of fruits and bakery. I was satisfied with this hotel.
Nearby, there is hemaxiansheng and starbucks, so convenient.
But, from nearby subway, it takes about 20-30 by walking.

Overall the hotel and staff are pretty good. I was especially pleased with the room service folks are they were very kind, caring and not grumpy. The only gripe i have was when i waited at the front desk to check out, 2 other people cut in front of me and went directly to the desk and the staff didnt question anything and processed their requests first. Im probably not the first foreigner getting cut off while waiting in line for anything in China. It might be a culture thing, but it sure is quite disgusting to be frank.

We are sorry that our staff might not noticed these two guests cut off and we are pretty sure it's none business of culture thing. In addition, we are also not support queue-jumpers. This was my first time staying at the hotel and overall it was a pleasant experience. The room was well prepared and the automated TV, shades, lights, toilet cover etc. were great. I paid for breakfast and I have to say the options were small but good. The food was good but not great. I wouldn't purchase the breakfast again but I would stay here as the location is close to many restaurants and things to see in the city.

A friend of mine who stayed here recommended it to me. Without further research and hesitation I booked for 2 nights stay first. The front desk staff upgraded me to a bigger room and offered me free breakfast after I signed up the VIP membership. The interior is a mixture of contemporary and classic Chinese. Light snacks are available during the day in the lobby. The bed is extremely comfortable. Service personnel are attentive and friendly. My overall experience can compare the one at a 4 star international hotel. I'll definitely come back.

A brand new hotel that the facilities are nice and clean. The staff is very attentive and helpful. The entrance is on Wendinglu 文定路, which should state clearly on the homepage to save our time to locate the hotel entrance.

The hotel is new. About 5 months old. Upon entering you are greeted with fragrant smells in the lobby which doubles as a bar. The interior is distinctively Chinese oriental. There is a tea appreciation counter. The rooms are modern and automated. Electric blinds lower as you enter the room. Curtains draw and close. Interiors are modern Chinese oriental fusion tastefully done.
I didn't explore the surrounds except for the mall which is a short walk away at Yishan Rd Station. The building used to be a mansion which explains the turn of the century exterior.
Staff are helpful and pre-emptive. Excellent stay and highly recommended.

The hotel is very new and has great in-room amenities. Not much to do in the vicinity of the hotel but it is well connected by different metro lines.
The staff are very friendly and most speak good english but the service needs to be more consistent. The hotel’s entrance is not on the same road as the hotel’s address. On the night of my arrival the staff member on duty spoke no English and neither me nor the taxi driver could locate the hotel. Ended up spending close to 90 minutes trying to find it in the middle of the night. On the first day of my stay, my room was not made up by early evening. Later thst day, housekeeping came into my room while I was in the shower, resulting in am awkward encounter.
Overall not a bad hotel but could do with better service.

Very new, state of the art hotel with the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in! English isn't easy for most of the staff and their restaurant wasn't up and running yet. Instead they ordered a delivery for me which was absolutely delicious and really great value so they do try to help! Swimming pool and gym are in the adjoining building.
