The room Is very small And a bit dated. The tiles in bathroom Were cracked. The AC was not working well and after plugging on our iPhone charger there was an explosion and the electricity went off. It is in a nice walkable area.

Nice property Front desk but moody at times Breakfast was simply ok Needed to print my train and air tickets asked front staff and was told they don’t have a email address which is total crap. Got a new guy to airdrop it to his phone and printed it out for 2 rmb Won’t be staying here again Staff need retraining especially breakfast guys and the senior front desk guys. Door guy and cleaning room lady were great.

Beautiful hotel in the perfect location to walk to everything we wanted to see. (We are joggers who are happy to walk 2-4 miles to visit a park). The view from our window was magnificent! Loved the cotton bathrobes and slippers!

Don't use it. Not worth it
They are claiming that hotel is 4stars but it's not. A lot of issues here. For example, thermostat is not working. The temperature Durning the day was above 30C. At morning with all night open windows 27.5C. when I told manager about temperature he told me that temperature set to what is required by Shanghai government and cannot be changed. Looks like Shanghai government start regulating what temperature I should use in my room. Complete bools..t. Most of hotels provided 2 free bottle of water. This hotel has smallest bottles I have seen. The carpet in passage dirty and has stains. No pool or gym.l

Highly recommended for first-time trip to Shanghai
I had a terrific day at this hotel for my first time in the city of Shanghai. The family room was spacious and comfortable, and was well equipped with most of the comforts of home. The housekeeping staff was very courteous and prompt in delivering what was needed for a comfortable stay. While the front desk staff could use a few lessons in customer service, they were efficient during check-in and checkout. This hotel is very nice for a mid-range hotel for the price I paid.

Clean, comfortable and big room
The hotel may look ordinary outside but the rooms are clean, large and comfortable. I enjoyed my stay and the staff there are helpful enough to help you book a taxi when requested.

Location was superb. A short walk and you get the best view of Pudong from across the river. Also the bridges an the old buildings nearby (e.g. the Post Office) were worth it. and the Japanese toilet!

Tulips form Shanghai
We had a really good experience at the Tulip The staff were helpful. Polite. Nothing was too much. The chef was really great always smiling ready to cook your choice of food. Really fresh. Bed was very comfortable possibly one of the best l have ever slept on.

Good location in The Bund
Breakfast is 108 RMB, the food has very good taste, we like the American size W/D , it cost 50 RMB per load of wash and dry, ambiance is nice.

There is construction going on near this hotel and it lasted till midnight, lots of other noises basically can't sleep. Ask the staff when the construction will end and they said they have no control and not even feel sorry for the guess. Very rude!

The building looked old, but the interior was impressive. The room was newly furnished, but small and the air inside was slightly dusty. The location is near metro station and a local food court.

We stayed in a room with a king size bed. The room was spacious and really on the luxurious side. It was nice and quiet as well. Plenty of toiletries provided, coffee making machine which was a real bonus and the room was always well maintained. The gym is fantastic for a hotel. Large, plenty of free weights and machines. The local area is good with a 15-20 minute walk to The Bund and to Nanjing Rd Walking Street. Short walk to Tiantong Rd subway. Great stay.

Wonderful, clean, beautiful room. You can open the windows. Friendly (English speaking) staff. Tea kettle was broken but quickly replaced. Thermostat was buggy but wasn't really necessary in the end. The appointments in the room, clean, classy, comfortable bed, roomy, etc. There was construction on the sidewalk in front of their building (not their fault) and not really disruptive. It felt special.
