「Clean room, but didn’t like the shower. Lovely pool area with lounge chairs and umbrellas. Arrived by taxi from airport only to discover that there weren’t any restaurants or bars within walking distance of the hotel. Contact with hosts via Expedia only. Would have liked the porch light on when we arrived in the dark, though. We are staying there again in a few weeks and I’m looking forward to it.」

「A beautiful setting to explore the enchanted village of Archanes. Be prepared for lots of friendly cats, you may wish to bring some treats with you, or pick some up at the local market. Hosts recommendations for dining and exploring were very good.」

「Nice hotel, well maintained despite dated rooms. Understand it's all inclusive if you have that option but charging extortionate prices to push people into going all-inclusive (15 EUR for all mixed drinks) is a bit much. Felt like the complimentary bottle of wine was lacklustre and a bit cheap for it was as it was only a half bottle with served with two walnuts and some peanuts. Same with the hotel only leaving a generic Birthday card in the room was really minimal effort that it may as well...

「The hotel is just a short walk from the port and it’s about 7 min away from Lion Square. The sound proof is amazing considering it’s on a main street and very close to the airport. Dimitri made some very good recommendations on restaurants - all of our meals have been amazing in Heraklion. The only recommendation I made is to replenish bottled water every day, rather than just giving 2 small bottles for the whole say. But all in all, good value for money and great hospitality! 」

「Definitely recommend for travelers wanting a more convenient location to stay. There are 2 mini markets, a bakery, & café all on the same block. The next block has a corner spot to order gyros & other items fresh which stays open late.」

「Room had clean bedding but a dirty floor in both main and bathroom. I checked in after front desk closed for the day. Upon informing them of the conditions, they offered to clean day after. Shower handle was broken. Impossible to shower without holding the wand in your hand. Shower is tiny. Not possible to shower, we are thin people. Dirty coffee machine. Water still inside smelled of mold. No air con in bedroom. Only a fan. Too bad they didnt even offer a different room.」
