"The outside could use a paint job, but don't let that fool you. This is a pretty cool historic place to stay. Interior is nice, beautiful lobby and parlor room to have a cup of coffee and a snack. Rooms have everything you need. You can kinda hear your neighbors through the ceiling and walls would be my only complaint. Would definitely stay here again."

"This cabin was beautiful and a wonderful place for my family to stay. It was well stocked, comfortable, and surrounded by a gorgeous forest setting. We truly enjoyed the cabin itself. We did have an issue was the listing description. Based on Expedia, we believed the cabin was located in the harbor area near the Safari Lodge and within walking distance of town and attractions. We were disappointed to learn on check-in that it is actually about four miles from the harbor in a secluded forest setting. The owners did try to provide us with available alternatives, which we appreciated, but none met our needs. The cabin itself was lovely; our concern was simply the lack of clarity in the listing. Since this property offers a very different experience from staying at the waterfront Safari Lodge, it would be helpful if it were listed separately or more clearly distinguished through the description and photo captions, especially since some photos suggest a waterfront location."
