Noisy but alright

Breakfast buffet - different menu everyday and they tasted good Room - mine was noisy at night like somebody was singing in my ears. I went downstairs and the receptionist said they were coming from the restaurants nearby

This stay was deeply disappointing, especially given my long history with the hotel. I’ve returned many times over the years because of the previously attentive staff and well-maintained property, but this visit fell short on several fronts. My junior suite—booked at a premium—had a strong mildew and mold odor that only the loud air conditioning could mask. The bathroom was not properly cleaned, with stray hairs left behind. Noise was another issue: while the pool view was pleasant, live music on weekends carried up to the room until midnight, making rest difficult. Beyond the room, the guest parking situation was poorly managed. Staff frequently moved guests’ bikes, leaving mine blocked in by others—a needless frustration. Finally, after a 10-day stay and years of loyalty, I was denied even a brief late checkout without an extra charge, which felt dismissive and ungracious.
