Poor condition. A bit down building. although I don’t think you can find a more affordable option that close to double six beach. If you stay there you’ll get access to the swimming pool in the twin hotel Staff is very attentive and offered an upgrade by moving to the twin brother Sari Bunga

The location is great, close the the beach. Hovewer the hotel is old. Room are very dusty, bed linens were having some stains. Hot water was coming out only after 10 min of being opened. Service was on a average, I asked multiple people to fix the sink and clean my room deeply, but nothing was done. Also, wi fi worked only next to the pool. So overall 4 out of 10.

För det priset man betalade fick man en hel del. Rummet var stort. Poolerna var helt okej. Frukosten var ganska liten, men det gick ändå bra. Frukt, bröd och ägg. Vi var nöjda.

Handy location, basic and reasonable price

Bali Subak Hotel is in a great location being close to the beach and right on Jalan Double Six. Lots of great places to eat nearby. The hotel is old style Bali and the room was spacious and reasonably clean. I found the bed comfy (2 singles). I was in a standard room on the first floor and had a little balcony which faced East. Wifi was sufficient for my needs. 2 pools to choose from and reasonably quiet during my stay. I would stay here again for the location.

Awful staff, rude and unwilling to help. No nice arrival greeting, just key to your room and leave. Unorganised and not phased by its customers.

Nice if you upgrade to updated side

My boyfriend and I booked via Expedia for a room close to the beach at a reasonable price. When we arrived and checked in, the staff was pleasant and helpful to get us into our room. Once we got in, we realized it was less than desirable on the budget side (looks like its 2 separate hotels, the older one is likely used for cheaper bookings?), the bed was very springy and seemed to be 2 twins pushed together. We asked to upgrade to a nicer room, there was some confusion and we ended up sleeping 1 night in the dodgy side. In the morning, they informed us that they could upgrade us for the next night. Much nicer on the Sari Bunga side... We were pretty happy with the free breakfast also. Got us hooked on their crepes!

便利の良いホテル

ビーチも徒歩圏内、周辺には沢山カフェがあり便利。ただ部屋の環境は最悪、ゴキブリ、エアコンはあまりきかない、バスタオルはボロボロ、ベッドはすごくカビ臭くゆっくり休めない。ホテルのスタッフはとても対応よかったので残念ですが2日目に他のホテルを急遽探しそちらへ移りました

Schöner Aufenthalt in Legian

Wir waren für 3 Nächte in diesem Hotel. Am balinesischen Neujahrstag (Nyepi) durfe man nicht auf die Straße gehen u. so haben wir den Tag im Hotel verbracht am Schwimmingpool. Alle waren sehr freundlich. Uns hat auch das Essen geschmeckt. Das Frühstück war einfach aber für uns auch ausreichend. Das Zimmer und die Betten waren gut, es war sauber u. wir hatten auch einen Balkon mit Wäscheständer. Wichtig war auch, daß die Dusche gut funktionierte (mit Wasserdruck) was in manchen Hotels nicht der Fall war. Baulärm (wie in manch anderen Hotels) gab es auch nicht.Kurzer Weg zum Strand. In unmittelbarere Nähe Restaurants u.shops. Fernseher mit Deutscher Welle. Internet (free Wifi) ging sowohl im Zimmer (langsam) als auch am Schwimmingpool u. im Restaurant. Die Klimaanlage ging nicht gut bei unserer Ankunft, wurde sofort repariert.

Nice, old hotel, with unhelpful staff

The room assigned to me was large and the balcony overlooks the (dirty!) swimming pool. But the room was clean although many of its light bulbs don't work. I had to ask for help several times as I had difficulty turning on power inside the room. The hotel can't even afford to buy a replacement card for the room's power slot. Its staff have folded a cardboard that they inserted inside the slot to turn the power inside the room on. As there is no elevator, I would advise guests with large luggage to ask to be assigned to lower floors. The breakfast offering is uninspired and unvaried and, after your second day, you won't want to touch it again. Overall, this is a good hotel if what you're looking for is just a place to sleep at after a busy day doing Bali's sights. But then again, you get what you pay for, so I suppose all of the above is par for the course.
