"This was a good deal for a budget hotel. I stayed at Motel 6 nearby recently, this was far better. It”s an older property and it’s showing some wear, but the rooms were clean, the room smelled good (Motel 6 reeked of cigarette smoke), and it was quiet. There was cigarette smell in the hallways, but that didn’t permeate everywhere. The breakfast is basic - cereal, yogurt, waffles to order. But it’s filling. The hot tub was cloudy, but they said it had just been repaired, so maybe it will clear as the water filters more. My business in Bellingham was extended, so I went back for a 2nd night, and I’ll stay here again next time I need a room here in town."

"We had a great stay. We were catching the ferry Friday morning so decided to stay close. This hotel was perfect. Check in was quick and easy. Our room was clean and comfortable. We were traveling with a dog and we got an end room with easy access to grassy area for walking. Breakfast was continental style, but fine. The grounds were well maintained, beautiful flowers and views of the bay. We also saw deer and rabbits on the property which was fun."
