The staff is friendly and helpful and it's easy walking access to a variety of dining options. Rooms are a bit dated and older and they have smoking rooms so the halls have a lingering order of smoke but ok for the price.

Staff is friendly. Rooms are dated and they offer smoking and non-smoking rooms so the hallways smell of smoke but for the price it works for a night or two.

This property is budget-friendly and sometimes that is a risk. However the customer service was excellent and the accommodations were clean and you could tell attention was given to detail. I had a very pleasant stay and will visit again.

I thought it would be fine, the bedding was kinda cute in the photos and the reviews seemed ok (misleading) ... But there were several bugs in the room/ bed, generally dirty throughout and an off-putting odor in the room, halls and lobby (all different smells).

It is very close to WWU campus - especially Birnham Wood apartments. The room was adequate, but I'm the glad it smelled smoky and musty. The hotel is a bit rundown and needs to be updated. The breakfast with the waffle was good and the sauna and hot tub were s nice way to warm up in the cold winter months.

A nice older hotel, could use a reno but still functions as a safe quiet place to stay. Restaurants and conveniences all walkinh distnace on the same street. Good central location for getting around Bellingham.
