Very small room, but it was cozy. Bed was very comfortable. Appreciated microwave and mini fridge. Good water pressure from shower.

It was a great location. It was quiet and close to everything. There was no staff that I spoke with but they said if I needed anything to call or text. The room was clean and stocked. The beds were comfortable too.

Great location close to uptown and all the tourist shops and eateries. Coffee situation could be improved, be prepared if you get up early to travel a ways to find some! Overall a good stay for an overnighter. Cute spot!

This is the perfect spot for a visit to Sedona. It's right where you need to be. The only reason for a 3 star on the staff is you don't really interact with them. They send you a code to get in your room and that's all you need. They offer other services that i did not need. I will definitely look to stay here every time. I have a feeling it will only get more popular and be impossible to book.

The motel is old school. One bedroom and bath. It is well maintained and clean. Close to everything with parking. Comfortable bed and plenty of hot water. The motel has a lot of charm. Will come back.

While visiting Sedona, many people on a budget need to find lodging in surrounding areas. That was our plan until I came upon the Star Motel. The price point fit our budget but there was no skimping on quality. Everything from great communication to super easy check in, to quality sheets and towels to super clean to great location in the heart of Uptown Sedona. It was better than expected. We will stay there again and would recommend to anyone.

Love this little motel, our little gem in Sedona! If you can get a room here it’s absolutely worth it for the walk-ability to uptown Sedona shops and restaurants! Very clean, room 8 the beds are massive and has great space! Large fridge to bring your own drinks and wine. Will stay again no doubt about it!!!

It was probably the smallest room we've ever stayed in, European hotels not included. It was so small, there wasn't even room for a chair, let alone two with a small table, so there was virtually no where to sit other than on the bed. The bed was comfortable for me (not so for my husband) and we found the refrigerator to be very useful, but there were few other amenities. We were okay staying there given how much time we spent away from the motel and our short two-night stay, the room was clean, and the location was outstanding, but the accommodations were super basic.

Hi Barbara, we have 11 rooms of different sizes and prices. Room size and room price generally correlate. If primarily, you value size, you should book a larger room. We have 4 large King rooms If instead, you primarily value price, and you book our smallest room / our best value, then you shouldn't complain about room size. Best to just book according to what best suits you so you are happiest.

Best bang for your buck in Sedona. When a winter snow arrived Easter Sunday, we were able to book a second night and get into a different room earlier than check-in time. Check in is by key pad, which is easy. Just know there are no staff on site, but you can reach them by text/phone. Excellent location to uptown Sedona, and it quieted down at night so street noise was no issue. Clean, quaint, affordable.

This is a cute authentic midcentury motel that's been updated nicely, near all the Sedona tourist attractions. Bed is pretty comfortable. But could have been cleaner baseboard in bathroom was grungy, and our sink clogged. The guy came out quickly to fix it.

Excellent location -- except for the lack of any dining after 7PM nearby. Room is clean and well-maintained. Bed very comfortable. BUT impossible to get any local channels (CBS, etc) on the large TV and the "coffee" was instant. Time has relegated this area of Sedona into a mass tee shirt mall with a magnificent view.

Hi Phillip, we pay for Directv for our guests, all of their national channels and there are many. That includes CBS, and etc. Just use the app as per the instructions given. If you want to go shopping, you can do so on the 89A. There are actually some wonderful shops there. you should check them out. There are also some T-shirt shops too. A t-shirt mall, I don't think so. If you want to hike, or visit the historical museum, or two of the best restaurants (Elote and Sedona Brewing) or walk in one of the pretties neighborhoods in America. that is all right there on our street, Jordan Road.

The room was basic but clean and comfortable. There was no maid service, which was fine with us. Awesome location, easy walking to lots of shopping and restaurants. The TV was huge but reception sucked. We couldn’t watch NFL playoff games. Channels that were available for streaming kept buffering every couple minutes

A deluxe motel
So many excellent things here. Much attention has been give to provide comfort and convenience for the guests. Cannot recommend this motel enough.

It was a little bit noisy this stay. Truck parking in our designated spot from work places. It’s a good place but during the week in the morning be prepared for all the garbage trucks, delivery trucks etc going down that road early

There is no attendant at this motel - you are basically on your own Had to call twice upon arrival to get room number. Booked on Hotels.com and the motel didn’t text me fhe info - took two calls to get the info texeted so i could get in the room Upon entering room - heat was off - was not even 50 degrees inside. Called for help and they couldnt send anyone - 20 minutes later i spoke with mike who had me disconnect the unit and plug in - started working. Took more then 2 hours for room to reach adequate temp of 65. Heater cycled on/ off all night and was very loud - horrible night sleep There are no lights outside my room- with curbs and hazards - was dangerous after dark to walk from your room Walkways were covered with salt - snow had melted so should have been swept, There is no safety bar or chain inside room- door could easily be pushed in and doors showed signs that had occurred before. Two lamps with dim bulbs is all the room offered - not enough light to read a book- i had to use my own headlamp. Room reminded me of a concrete bunker with two beds - not even a chair though plenty of room for one. Terrible experience with this motel
