The motel is old school. One bedroom and bath. It is well maintained and clean. Close to everything with parking. Comfortable bed and plenty of hot water. The motel has a lot of charm. Will come back.

While visiting Sedona, many people on a budget need to find lodging in surrounding areas. That was our plan until I came upon the Star Motel. The price point fit our budget but there was no skimping on quality. Everything from great communication to super easy check in, to quality sheets and towels to super clean to great location in the heart of Uptown Sedona. It was better than expected. We will stay there again and would recommend to anyone.

Love this little motel, our little gem in Sedona! If you can get a room here it’s absolutely worth it for the walk-ability to uptown Sedona shops and restaurants! Very clean, room 8 the beds are massive and has great space! Large fridge to bring your own drinks and wine. Will stay again no doubt about it!!!

It was probably the smallest room we've ever stayed in, European hotels not included. It was so small, there wasn't even room for a chair, let alone two with a small table, so there was virtually no where to sit other than on the bed. The bed was comfortable for me (not so for my husband) and we found the refrigerator to be very useful, but there were few other amenities. We were okay staying there given how much time we spent away from the motel and our short two-night stay, the room was clean, and the location was outstanding, but the accommodations were super basic.

Best bang for your buck in Sedona. When a winter snow arrived Easter Sunday, we were able to book a second night and get into a different room earlier than check-in time. Check in is by key pad, which is easy. Just know there are no staff on site, but you can reach them by text/phone. Excellent location to uptown Sedona, and it quieted down at night so street noise was no issue. Clean, quaint, affordable.
