Hello? Is anybody home?
The office was closed when we got there. I did get an email prior to arrival telling room number and such. It was called "contactless check in". Nobody was there the entire time we were there. The building is rundown, carpet on floor was stained, the room was clean but old and worn. Clock on wall did not work. 1 regular and 1 decaf coffee pod in the room. Webpage claimed the Motel was 1 min walk to the boardwalk. It was more like 3-4 blocks away. Stayed on second floor, no elevator. Lighting in the room was low due to poor lamps. Did it once, wont do it again.

Liked nothing. It was a very small bedroom with droopy bed. Bathroom had tissue holder and towel holder broken. TV was in front of smelly sofa. No way of hanging clothes. Staff member tried to help us by providing clothes drying rack. We couldn’t sleep whole night and left next morning. Horrible experience.

Cost too much for what you get!
Well. I don’t usually write reviews but I thought I’d better write one for this Motel. First of all it was clean and in a convenient location. It was a kitchenette without anything to cook with. Not even cups or silverware. No windows whatsoever. No balcony like the description said. There wasn’t a blanket on the bed at all. Luckily I brought a comforter and pillows. We had to use the trash can as a nightstand. We made the best of it. But I would definitely not stay there for more than two nights.

Rent to Adults over 21 years of age to prevent rooms being broken up. Wished the Suite Pots and Pans and Plates were in the room when I checked in on the Twentieth of August. Had to ask several times for pot and pans for cooking meals.

The property was clean! Manager responded back quickly with a text and call when I encountered a problem while on vacation. The air conditioner was a little loud but I was able to sleep through it lol. Will stay again! Thank you!

The Thunderbird motel is very convenient to the Seaside Heights boardwalk. Just a couple of blocks away. The staff at the Thunderbird was very friendly, helpful and addressed any issues at any and all times. If you want a decent and convenient stay near the beginning end of one side of the boardwalk, this is the place to go to.

I'm currently here with my family (3 kids and husband). The owner was very accommodating. We arrived early and he let us park so we could take the kids to the beach until our room was ready. Everyone has been very friendly. The room is on the small side but has everything we need. It is clean. I reserved a suite with 2 rooms. 1 room has an air conditioner but the other one stays hot. Aside from that, we are happy with the location and will rent from this family again.

Simple, clean, quiet, but not charming. The balcony looks over the road and there's quite a lot of construction going on. The area is a little ugly, but not unexpectedly so. Our suite was spotless, and the AC worked like a charm. The Having a fridge and mini-kitchen was great, but be prepared that there are no supplies: no cups, for example. Customer service was excellent; when there were no parking spots available, a staff member called me back immediately to figure out what to do.

The property needs some updating. Most of the doors did not close properly. There was only air conditioning in the one bedroom. There were no dressers or end tables. The refrigerator worked fine and the one air conditioner worked well. The shower was newer but the bathroom itself was dated.

This place was definitely an experience and not in a good way. The nicest thing i can say about the place was the room was clean. Also when the lot was full, the woman on call for the front desk was kind enough to direct me to the overflow parking across the street. Now for the bad stuff. The room had no dresser to place our belongings in, but had some shelving next to the air conditioner. The space was small. The air conditioner worked well but was incredibly loud and woke my wife up multiple times during the night. The toilet paper roll was broken. I took cold showers every day because there was no hot water. The window curtain wasn't wide enough to block out the outside light, so the room didn't get very dark at night. There is only 1 set of entrance and exit stairs and a narrow hallway to get to the rooms, which is a fire hazard. For a no amenities hotel in this price range, the minimum I expect is a good night's sleep and hot water to take a shower and i didn't even get that. This wasn't the worst hotel I've ever stayed in, but certainly the worst in a very long time.

I wish you contacted us while you were at our motel. No one else had any issues with the hot water. We also have passed all inspections and definitely our fire inspection. I have no idea why you would call that a fire hazard. I would have gladly checked out the AC and showed you how to use the shower.

There were issues with the plumbing. People at the hotel were no help. Had to go out and buy a plunger myself. The place was very outdated, and smelled like smoke. Kitchenette area was gross.

I wish you contacted while you at our motel. Did you go to the office and tell them about issue? I find it hard it hard to believe that my staff would not assist with this issue. But if that is the case please contact me immediately. I would have gladly handled all issues if you contacted us
