"Every thing about the hotel was amazing "

"The Daffodil Hotel is a really decent hotel, we came for our little honeymoon. Room was very clean, reception staff very welcoming and the beds are comfortable. We loved the view from our window of the lake and hills. Gorgeous location! Only issues was we had no fridge in our room, not having somewhere cold to store our 'bottled gifts' we brought from our wedding was disappointing. Also the reception lounge bar was closed constantly, its a shame as we fancied a nice cocktail and snack to celebrate, the actual restaurant was a bit too pricey for us. "

"There wasn’t a plug socket on one side of the bed and the design of the basin tap is not great. "

"I stayed in the shepherds hut, it was tranquil, situated next to the river. Beautifully equipped and the Victorian bath tub was a lovely touch. Wish I had booked 2 nights"

"The overall cleanliness of the hotel & the service was wonderful with the exception of a grumpy woman behind the bar her service was awful, she didn’t even come to take my order for lunch I waited 40minutes I even had to go & ask & order it myself up at the bar, it wasn’t even busy. She wasn’t very helpful it was as though she didn’t like the job! Her approach to customers wasn’t great really to be honest. But I certainly give 5 stars to all the other staff in the restaurant & especially the lady at reception. Thank you to those staff that made up for the grumpy one with glasses. "
