"The Inn is in close driving distance to Historic Downtown and UVA, as well as Monticello and other sites. It is not really in walking distance to UVA, but it does have a nice trail system just behind the property. It's a good 45 minute drive to Shenandoah. The breakfast is very good, and the lobby is cozy. "
"First, I was given a room that was already occupied. No phone in the room to ask questions of the desk, no person on the desk! I was hoping to watch the final of the World Baseball Classic(on Fox) but TV not working or only available as a monitor for streaming (using my own subscriptions!) Coffee maker good, but flavored creamer(?) Room was clean and comfortable, but totally DIY (no instructions about how to lower the shades, for example). It is close to my daughter's house, which is why I booked it."
"The hotel itself was beautiful. Great location. 2 things that were not great were 1.conditioner provided had curdled and was like putting cottage cheese in my hair. Took a lot of rinsing and scrubbing to get it out. Snd 2. Friday night a nearby bar had live music playing very very loudly till 1am. I had a class early sat morning and could not sleep. Otherwise everything was excellent. "
