「We loved our brief stay at the Queen’s. My husband had been taken ill on arrival in Lerwick and we had to change our plans to let him rest up. We booked last minute and were surprised to be able to still choose a twin room with sea view. The sea literally lapped outside our window and the view was stunning. The hotel has a fascinating history and is built actually into the sea so those who complained of damp should have gone some where else. The shower was great with loads of instant hot water...

「The location is great in Uig and have a great view of the harbour . Its worth for the price. Check in at the Uig hotel just nearby, very close. However the dinner of the restaurant of the Uig hotel is not good. Not recommended to have meals there.」

「The owner was very friendly and the room was spacious, clean and tidy. It was very comfortable. Breakfast was good, too. Very good stay experience, unfortunately only booked one night, hope to have the chance to visit kirkwall again」
