很舒适的酒店，卫浴非常好超过三星。房间风景优美晚上非常安静很好睡。是一个适合度假、发呆的好地方！地处偏远，如果酒店不提供晚餐或者错过晚餐时间会很麻烦，建议Portree市区吃完饭过来或者带食物回来。

Probably the nicest room of our three week tour of Scotland. Very comfortable with a beautiful view of the loch and the food was fantastic. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Yes, it’s a bit of a drive from Portree but well positioned to tour the island. Would definitely stay again!

We loved the quietness and beauty of the location. The staff were warm and welcoming and our guest house was clean and comfortable- best sleep in Scotland thus far. One of my favorite parts of the property was the library that overlooked the water. Dinner and breakfast were absolutely delicious- we ordered the pan fried sea bass! Would absolutely stay again. Ps. The road only has a couple pot holes and it’s not that bad, just go slow.

Mooie locatie met uitzicht. Ruime kamer, fijne ruimte met zitjes met uitzicht over de baai, goed en uitgebreid ontbijt met veel vers fruit en vriendelijk personeel. Ook een prima plek om een dagje te niksen, dus een dag extra te verblijven.

Pros: A true Isle of Skye experience… right on the water, beautiful view, lots of sheep around. It felt safe, secluded and was very quiet. The staff were so kind. Cons: It’s a very basic accommodation and the buildings/rooms show wear and tear, The drive in is 2 miles of one lane with not many passing areas.

I highly recommend staying at the Redwood House. The staff is superb and the location is picturesque. The food is absolutely amazing. One of the highlight features is the sun room overlooking the water. It is the perfect place to unwind and relax.

Even though the final 2 miles were a bit challenging (not the property's responsibility), we felt the drive worth it. The food was excellent to the extent we were there four nights and didn't feel like going anywhere else. The staff was excellent! They were courteous and friendly. A real pleasure.

C’est isolé, mais le site est charmant et très bien entretenu. Chambre très propre avec vue sur le lac, et les moutons qui broutent devant la fenêtre. La nourriture est excellente, ce qui permet de rester sur le site pour le repas du soir. Le personnel est très accueillant.

Loved the location. Loch side. Not too remote. Restaurant was a plus Breakfast included was very nice SeaBass and veal were standouts for dinner. Skip the hamburger. Room was dated. Bathroom was updated but didn’t have counter space or shelving to put any toiletries or clothing. Bathroom had STRONG septic smell that I alerted the staff to a couple of different times but they didn’t come check and seemed to shrug it off. It definitely got worse while we were there and the lack of a response was very frustrating.

Our three-night stay at Redwood House was lovely. Our room, A1, was large, comfortable, and well-appointed. We loved seeing the lambs gamboling on the grass behind the hotel. Breakfasts and dinners were very good. The staff were friendly and kind. We would definitely stay there again.

The only thing good about this place is the breakfast was decent. The ladies served the meal were very nice and welcoming. Be prepared to drive thru a super long pothole-filled single road and finally arrived with nothing to eat, no where to eat, and the reception staff offered no help and couldn’t care less. Unfortunate, this was not a place that meets the Scottish hospitality standard. Will not return.

It was a reasonably nice lodge on a beautiful loch. The rooms were nothing special, but were clean. Breakfast was good, and dinner was pretty good as well the one time we ate there. It wasn't really what I expected based on their web site, so don't expect an elegant stay. If you are looking for a clean comfortable place in the country however, this does nicely.

This was the best stay we’ve had on our Scotland trip. We had a sea view which was gorgeous, there are sheep everywhere which was a highlight, and they are quiet at night (in case you are wondering). The breakfast was included and had many delicious options. We ate at the restaurant for dinner as well and enjoyed all of our meals. The staff were super friendly and very helpful. I highly recommend staying here if you are planning a trip to Skye. It is also central, so well placed to get to all of the popular tourist attractions.

The hotel is located inside a sheep farm and next to the water. Beautiful quiet location. Love seeing the sheeps and hearing their bleeps. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. Even the smallest guest room is spacious. We enjoy the common space of the sunroom/library. Some potholes on the road where we first entered the farm, just 20-30 meters. Drive slow and you are fine — you should drive slow anyway as sheep’s are everywhere
