"We had a wonderful stay at the hotel! Kimberly at the front desk was absolutely amazing—so professional, kind, and really went above and beyond to help us, even arranging a room upgrade. The entire stay was comfortable, and we felt really valued as guests. Highly recommend! In addition, Manuel from the bar was so nice that help us celebrate both of our birthdays. He was friendly and so engaged practicing his Spanish.. Simply the best Hotel staying.. A++"

"One of the best hotels that we've stopped in, good quality but also friendly and welcoming. The hotel felt very secure and safe, in a good location. We were happy to walk into the centre of Vienna or to Karlsplatz underground station, which has excellent connections to other parts of the city including Schonbrunn and Prater Park with the famous Ferris Wheel. For anyone who is not happy to walk far, there is also a tram service very nearby. The breakfast was excellent, with a good selection of cereals, cooked food, bread, fruit, yogurt etc. The room was an adequate size, with a safe, air conditioning and a very good bathroom and everything else we needed. We had two evening meals in the restaurant, which was very good though with relatively few options. There are also a variety of other restaurants nearby. The hotel staff were very polite, friendly and helpful, providing advice and a tourist map on request. If we visit Vienna again we would hope to book Hotel Erzherzog Rainer again, as our first choice."

"Good and comfortable hotel, located well for transport links. Walkable into the city, but a little way out. Breakfast was good, and nice to have a small shop in reception for snacks etc. Would have been even better if there was a restaurant available for evening meals."

"This was such a cool Property because we had a beautiful rooftop bar and the staff was friendly for the most part. I kept telling him my air conditioner was not functioning the way it should and could somebody come and help me and nobody would budge and come to the room with me or send somebody up to the room to help they just told me what to do and figured I would take care of it myself, which eventually after two days of not having a cool room I figured it out. Also there are zero snacks in the room for when you get hungry but their mini fridge does keep things very cold and I appreciated that. It is an attractive hotel in a good location. They have a weird policy about cleaning the rooms though I spoke to the lady in the hall and asked her to clean my room after two days and she said no you have to talk to the desk and I thought that was odd but she eventually did clean the room and they are so skimpy on water. You get two bottles when you check in and even though I checked in twice and had to pay for two nights the first day and then when I wanted to extend my stay I had to pre-pay two nights for the second stay but I didn’t get another two complementary bottles of water for the fridge, which I thought they should’ve done. I feel so dehydrated here. But I did all in all like the hotel and the location and 99% of the staff"

"Staff at the reception was great. We had a nice welcoming in fluent Spanish (girl and guy). The girl gave us a map and very helpful info about touring around the hotel (walking and public transportation). The room was clean and had great AC. The Italian meals at the restaurant were very good. Great location and near subway, tram and bus stations. Will definitely come back and stay at Holiday Inn Wien."
