「The hotel is in an industrial area. We were able to walk to a great Thai restaurant right across the street. The staff were really great: friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was continental and fine to start the day: bagels, waffles, yoghurt, fruit, cereal, hard boiled eggs, etc. Coffee was available 24 hours as well as lemon water. We didn't use the pool but it looked spotless.」

「When you visit Halifax, stay in nearby Dartmouth at Windmill Walk. You will enjoy a quiet neighborhood and a 10-minute walk to the ferry that crosses the harbor to downtown Halifax and the waterfront. Our second floor spacious apartment has large west and north windows. A small private deck is off the bedroom. This 1920s-era building is in great condition. Andy, our host who lives in the building, met us when we arrived and gave us a detailed orientation. He made us feel very welcome.」
