"Absolutely stunning resort! The cabana we stayed in was right on the beach with an incredible view of the bay. The room was very comfortable and had great amenities. Location is easy to get to and the staff is friendly and welcoming. I could see myself doing a much longer stay for sure!!! Highly recommend for anyone who wants to enjoy the peaceful beauty of Belize! "

"The room was clean. Ronna is very friendly and made lots of great recommendations. The location is a bit remote but that is what you should be going there for. A golf cart is a must. We stayed in March so the sargassum was a bit on the bad side, not that's any fault of the resort, just something to be aware of. A great place for peace and solitude. "
"My stay at La Beliza Resort was smooth and enjoyable from start to finish. We stayed in a 1 bedroom suite and our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The pool area was quiet and relaxing, making it easy to enjoy the sun without feeling crowded like we did at other places on the island.
There was some sargassum along the beach, but it was everywhere across Ambergris Caye and thanks to the staff working to clean it up every day, it didn’t take away from the overall experience.
Our trip highlights were visiting Secret Beach and snorkeling at Hol Chan Marine Reserve and both are worth doing.
The staff at the resort did a great job coordinating and organizing tours. Overall, a comfortable and relaxing place to stay."
"We stayed 5 nights at Casa Nova Cabanas and had a fantastic experience! The property hosts, Keila and Jaime are incredible- they absolutely made our stay very enjoyable. The property is clean, quiet and very comfortable- offering 4 units on the main level (2 facing the water and 2 inward facing) plus a larger suite with kitchen on the 2nd floor of the main building. As well there is a pristine private beach with shade and lounge chairs- perfect to enjoy a relaxing day of sun and water (the water is crystal clear and shallow) with kayaks and SUPs provided. The rooms are simple, modern, and very clean- providing you A/C and a comfortable bed and peaceful sleep. Jaime made incredible meals (Breakfast and Supper) for us- something different each day- healthy and nutritious, and full of flavor. Although its a 45min golf cart drive from San Pedro- Casa Nova Cabanas offers everything you want if you are looking for a relaxing, quiet vacation with delicious meals, excellent accommodations (and incredible hosts!) and a beautiful beach."
"The room was clean. The staff is friendly. The location is a little remote but that's a good thing. Great place to relax but not too far from restaurants and secret beach."
"Do no go here unless you are sure there is NO SARGASSUM SEAWEED! The "resort" does not clean up or remove this horrible blight that has the worst stench imaginable! If you google Sargassum you will see that it is very dangerous to your health - sulphur! Very dangerous to respiratory tract and skin contact as well. We stayed one night and had to leave as my husband got asthma so bad. The ride out was 20 minutes of hell in the golf cart with the smell so terrible I almost vomited. We had to wear our N-95 masks to make the journey. Even if the Sargassum wasn't there, this is definately not at 4 1/2 star. It would barely be a 2! mold in the dated bathrooms and felt dirty. Staff was very nice though. Other hotels in this area mention sargassum so that you can decide if you wish to go there. There was no mention of this on the website and you need to warn people. They would not refund our 4 night stay. We could only stand to stay the one night - it was too dark to make the journey back out on the "trail" to find another hotel. It is very sad. The water is brown and the smell takes our breath away. The food at the restaurant is mediocre. "
"This place was wonderful. The rooms were excellent. The staff were very friendly and made us feel like family. The on-site restaurant food is amazing. We highly recommend this resort."
"Beautiful property in the perfect location to enjoy Secret Beaches clean, clear beach. The cabana was lovely and comfortable even without air conditioning as the ocean breeze along with fans make sleep comfortable. "
