We had enjoyable conversations with the restaurant manager (and learned of her family’s long history in the community) as well as the staff members - Maggie, Abbie and Graham. The location was perfectly situated in the middle of town. Highlands is a wonderful community with gorgeous nature surrounding it."

"I thought things were fine, my wife didn't. The walls are thin, we could hear neighbors talking pretty easily in the room. My wife asked for tea and the desk lady told her she'd sell her a bag, they didn't put tea bags in the rooms until later in the season. The wood fire in the common area was nice. We didn't really use the balcony, it was OK I guess. There were odd noises during the night."
