"Very clean room, no issues TV control with two different remotes very confusing, contacted front desk, they sent a staff person to instruct usage. Parking with a boat trailer a little tight, a few wider spaces needed."

"I really liked staying here. The setting is just beautiful! The inn reminded me of the setting for Dirty Dancing. Our room had a claw foot tub. I loved all the historic aspects of the inn. I would have liked to have more time to explore the property around the inn. Nancy was the lady who greeted us and was there the next day as well. She was super nice. I also enjoyed the breakfast. The grits were top notch! The inn is very quiet-they give you a notebook with info on the site. There is an explanation that the inn is 100 years old, and made of wood, so sound travels. They have quiet hours from 10pm to 7 am. There are no TVs. I did not mind this at all. They have activities scheduled at different nights. I would love to come back for one of their specialty weekends. Highly recommend."

"I like everything about the hotel, but using the address of “old Hendersonville Road” makes the hotel hard to find. The Big outdoor hotel sign is on the opposite side. There’s a very tiny sign on the Hendersonville Road with the name of the hotel."

"I picked this place on a whim for a last minute hiking getaway. It came down to this or a house. I am so glad we picked this place. We spent every morning out hiking and then we spent every afternoon at the rec center playing mini golf, ropes course, arcade games, playing checkers or Jenga, or in the pool. Most of the amenities were included and the few that had an extra cost were reasonable. My kids easily found other kids to play with at the pool. We ate at The Library on site (get reservations unlike us if you want to eat outside) which had great food. We ate breakfast and lunch in the unit sitting on the patio and it was so peaceful and quiet. I know other units had families too but we never heard them. My husband even bought a started log to use the fire place. Management company was very responsive when we had an issue with a bathroom and had maintenance out to fix it very quickly. I would highly recommend it especially for families."
