"Hotellet slitet, men allt funkade. Internet, aircondition, varmvatten. Det enda var att frukosten serverades efter 08.00 eller senare och att man bara fick ett bröd per gäst. Generöst med smör. Det ingick även cornflakes och mjölk. Personalen var vänlig och hjälpsam. Hotellet kändes mycket tryggt och lugnt och det låg mycket bra till mitt i Barrio Italia men på en tyst gata. "I stayed in the private apartment (thought was on sight) But it is down the street from the hostel. The apartment is basic and no shampoo or anything like that. Two towels and no dish towels. Apartment was kind of run down but the price is what you get. Bed was not that comfortable and no ac; just a fan. "Hostel is in a beautiful old building that has lots of character. It definitely makes me wonder what it used to be in the past. Good location, short walking distance to Plaza de Armas y Plaza de La Constitution. I had a private room with private bath on the first floor. Keyless entry which is very convenient. I came at the start of Chile’s winter. It was cold. They do have space heaters. Mine stopped working in the middle of the night, but they gave me a new one the next day. Everyone who worked...
