「You get what you pay for. This was a cheap stay. There was only one shower and one toilet for 5 rooms, some of which were double. The shower was either scaldingly hot or freezing cold with no in between. It is in an area with 1940s buildings which are really nice. It was quiet and close to bus and metro.」

「I stayed in the private apartment (thought was on sight) But it is down the street from the hostel. The apartment is basic and no shampoo or anything like that. Two towels and no dish towels. Apartment was kind of run down but the price is what you get. Bed was not that comfortable and no ac; just a fan. Area was close to the plaza and the lucia hill (5-10 minute walk) nice views from 22nd floor but stayed for 3 nights in Santiago and least favorite city so far; graffiti everywhere after the...
