「It is in a residential area :10 minutes walk from bus terminal and about 15 minutes to the city center. Ask for a taxi transfer if you have heavy luggage or wheeled luggage. The cottage house is among the most beautiful, we have stayed in, with tasteful collections, overlooking a garden with lupines and a far view of lake argentina. Hosts, living close by, are very responsive, helpful and hospitable. We enjoyed our stay and hope to have spent substantial more time . 」

「Pros: - Staff are friendly and helpful - Breakfast is great - Fully functional kitchen - Hostel is generally clean and cozy - Close to city centre Cons: - Wifi is only working in common area. Not working at all in the rooms - You need to turn the water on for 5 mins before the hot water comes. We had cold shower on the first day. 「The apartment was very clean, the staff was extremely helpful vis whatsapp. They helped us pre book a taxi to and from the airport. The showe was a pain getting the water temperature adjusted and the cookware was adequate. It was located further out of town ,but in a great location. 」

「The Esplendor was a really great hotel and I highly recommend it to anyone traveling to El Calafate! The staff was super friendly at the desk and in the restaurant, parking is easy, and it’s a quick walk from town but set back enough to be quiet. The rooms are large, comfortable, and well decorated. Really had an amazing stay! 」
