「This was incredible. If you are looking for a 5 star resort this may not be for you , but if you want a real authentic experience with an incredible view , I mean incredible. (This is saying a lot as I am from Alaska and have a high level of expectation for views ) the family that runs the base camp and restraint were so sweet this was one of the most memorable stays I’ve had in my life. Can’t wait to plan my trip back here! 」

「The small hotel is in Marampata, Peru, close to Choquequirao. Everything that gets to Marampata comes on a human's or mule's back on a brutally long day of hiking. The fact that the hotel exists there is amazing in itself. No idea how the mattresses got there. My son and I stayed 2 nights on a recent hiking trip to Choque. We didn't want to carry tent/sleeping bags/ground mat, etc...and add day/s to the hike, although we could have camped for very little money. The hotel was well worth the...

「Amazing shower. Best shower in my peru trip. Hot water is so enough. Hotel provides breakfast from 5:00am. It is perfect for the one need to catch the early bus to machu picchu. It has lift. However, the hotel is located next to the heavy river. It may be a bit noisy.」

「The staff was very friendly when we checked in, even though we made the reservation only two hours beforehand. They took our IDs to register us, and two days later, when we left at 5 a.m., they came out to see us off without us even having to call them, which we appreciated since we didn't want to inconvenience them so early in the morning. They said goodbye anyway. Something that could be improved is the breakfast. Thank you.」
