"The room is nice very clean some difficult with the TV, which was no batteries in the remote, the front desk gave me fresh batteries, so that was good. Well, we both didn’t like was the gigantic pillows. Some people love them. Some people not quite hate, but don’t like them and we didn’t like them. There’s a consensus running around 52 to 57% who don’t like those giant pillows and and the consensus that people like the pillows are less than 50% but that’s only in one survey. Next time we come, which we will come, we’ll bring our own pillows.. last time I was here it was six or seven years ago and to be truthful the breakfast was better of course the breakfast room was in the bar and so it was different, but this breakfast was good, but some of the food was cold and no hot chocolate otherwise it was pretty good. We will be back"

"The property is fine although the road noise is pretty loud. The rooms were very clean and nice and the bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. But, the odor of the cleaning products they use is overwhelming when you walk in the door, very strong floral. I found it a little nauseating. Not all people like strong odors, or they are put off by it. Just tone it down a little bit. What’s funny is that I read another review before booking and it commented on the strong cleaning odor when entering. But she said she liked it. It just shouldn’t be that strong in which that is the first thing you notice when entering."

"The property was very well kept and clean but what really stood out was the decor in the lobby areas that harken back to the glory days of years ago. This gave the hotel a unique charm. The room was also spacious and very comfortable. And I got it for a really good rate. I was very impressed with the entire experience."

"The room was very clean. The staff was friendly and polite. The air conditioner was awesome it worked very well. Parking was easy to get in and out of. Super close to the beach about two blocks away maybe two and a half blocks. There's the deli next door and they make good breakfast burritos or just regular burritos if you want. Our stay there was very nice"
