The grounds and pool were also quite nice. If “bang for your buck” is a priority, I recommend La Maracuya. It’s a little remote, but we wanted some quiet time, and the location didn’t prevent us from exploring. We visited the pacific beaches and El Valle de Anton via rental car. 「Staff went out of their way to please. This is a quintesential small Panamanian hotel. Not perfect in terms of condition. Older hotel with flaws as far as condition but staff makes up for that 10 times over. Personal service and food and drink very good and priced well. Quiet area with pool and hilltop view of Pacific. If you want an updated hotel stay in Panama City. If not go to Hotel Eclipse and get one on one service and comfort at a reasonable price and deal with a superbe staff!」

「I had some trouble at the gate but I believe that I missed a step and did not have the necessary QR code for entrance, but that gave me a chance to experience the quards professionalism and courtesy. Same for the people at quest services. The small apartment was immaculate and comfortable. 」

「The property is overall tidy with a large, covered terrace and a garden. The owner treated me as a friend giving me good advice and any possible assistance, for instance bicycles are available free of charge. He keeps a friendly dog welcoming every guest without any harm. The house is located beside a stream of fresh mountain water. I'd like to come again.」
