「This resort was less than expected. At first I did nlt get the room view I picked from Expedia and had to claim. After my claim I felt mistreated based on my race as well. 「Communication from the owner was excellent. The staff was amazing and patient with our lack of Spanish. The food was delicious and made dining stress free for my wife and me. The grounds and pool were also quite nice. If “bang for your buck” is a priority, I recommend La Maracuya. It’s a little remote, but we wanted some quiet time, and the location didn’t prevent us from exploring. We visited the pacific beaches and El Valle de Anton via rental car. 「We had a beautiful room with a balcony with views of the surrounding mountains. The property was very lush and the setting is exotic. The staff were helpful and friendly. An excellent cooked-to-order breakfast was served every morning with delicious fresh fruits. There was nothing to fault with this inn.」
