"We stayed here after a family reunion at a very rustic ranch. It was nice to spend two nights here to have a little luxury. Beautiful grounds. I loved the free margarita at arrival. It was a good one too, scratch, not mix. The valets were so nice and kind. We got a cabana and they are sort of set away from the main pool, near the kids’ splash pad. We were there at a time when there weren’t many people, so it was fine, but if it were a busy day, it wouldn’t be super relaxing to have a cabana. So maybe they are more for families with young kids to have a place to set up camp. Corn Maiden restaurant was underwhelming but the Santa Ana Cafe was a great spot for a casual dinner, with lots of options and great, prompt service. My parents went to SAC for breakfast, however, and had a really bad experience with the speed of service. It took 45 min to get served and get their food. It was strange. The rooms we were in were newly renovated and nice! Lots of places to plug in devices for our family of 4. "
