"Just stopped overnight, and I admit I was too ambitious about my Italian driving skills. No judgement from these guys - They ferried us back and forth to the car, helped us find parking, and shared some stories about the town. Will come back one day for a proper stay. "

"The first thing to say is "WOW", what a great place to stay - the entire place was beautiful and was such a perfect stop on our trip to Italy. The room was so nice and comfortable we didn't want to leave. The breakfast was incredible and the staff was just over the top awesome !!! We are very picky when we travel about cleanliness, value and customer service - we were so pleased that everything was even better than advertised - we will absolutely stay here again when we get the chance !!!! Bellisimo !! Bella !! Perfetto !!"

"Our room was nice and comfortable with a lovely view out to the sea. It was a modern room I believe recently upgraded. All the staff were wonderful particularly Marika who checked us in and helped get us a taxi from the station. We enjoyed a drink at the bar but being March it was quiet. Breakfast was lovely. "

"Super attentive and friendly staff from Antonio at the Reception to Roberto and the Somellier (we called cousin Bob because he looks exactly like our Cousin Bob), Saverio, who ended up being the owner. Rooms are large and very clean and modern. Entire hotel is less than one year old, and the floors are gleaming marble everywhere. Good breakfast and good dinner options even off season. Showers are phenomenal. Beautiful views of the Sila mountain range. "

"Popilia was an incredible place to stay. Eveything about the resort is amazing. The staff is incredibly friendly and was always very helpful. The rooms are comfortable and immaculately kept. The grounds are also meticulously maintianed. The pools is huge and makes you feel like you are in the Caribbean. The restaurant is also very good. If i had to give one criticism it would be to have a wider selection of food options for lunch or dinner. Otherwise 10 out of 10!!"

"Big unit and ac worked but that’s about it. Weekly clean and towel change only. Everything including pool shut down from 2-5pm in 45C heat?? Espresso and food overpriced by triple than everywhere else. More of a unit rental and your on your own. You can get a hotel for what I paid with full service in a major tourist area rather than this place. Tired building and far from beach, staff service non existent in any front. Seemed like they didn’t want to be there or help."
