Good options made it a 4. Limited options no eggs which is a staple. No protein at all. Room was clean and comfy. Pool and area were clean and pretty.

Our family of four recently visited Sandusky for a trip to Cedar Point, and we had a fantastic stay. The hotel was very clean and welcoming, making us feel comfortable right from the start. Although the room was a bit small, we made it work comfortably for our family. One of the highlights was the outdoor pool, which was large and fun, complete with a slide and Jacuzzi — perfect for relaxing after a day at the amusement park. Overall, it was a great place to stay, and we enjoyed our time in Sandusky. We would definitely recommend it to other families visiting Cedar Point!

It is not a top of the line modern hotel but it is very affordable and clean. The staff was friendly. My family enjoyed the pool very much. Great location and great deal.

The people that own this property are family along with some staff that have been there for many years. They were all so kind. We were sent to a lovely room with 2 super comfortable beds. The beautiful pool was right outside our door where we swam til almost 11pm. The breakfast was so nice and we met Bonnie who took care of everything in the dining room. It was spotless and such great hospitality given by Bonnie. Shout out to her and her sister who was cleaning rooms. Everyone and their smiles made the stay so pleasant. Thanks for a great stay.

Our kids had a blast at the pool! Clean place with very nice staff members. Close and easy drive to Cedar Point. Appreciated the continental breakfast before heading to the park. Would definitely stay here again.

I got the delux king room and the lights flickered the whole time. The AC had a hard time keeping up. The carpet was so thin i could feel the staples through it. The bathroom was dirty and the showerhead was so low that i had to bend over and I'm only 5' 5". We asked for a crib and they didnt have a sheet for it and i didnt think to bring one. Also there was only one night stand for a king size bed so one of us didnt have anywhere to put our phone or a drink. I asked if they could bring us an extra if they had one from another room and we never saw the guy again.

Just a wonderful and well maintained hotel with a lovely staff. Everything was clean and well made. Beautiful landscaping. I can't say enough about how nice and welcoming the staff is. We'll definitely stay here again.

Air conditioner was very loud and we couldn't turn off auto mode so it got hot at times. Towels are very thin and scratchy. For goodness sake, change out the odd hair dryers! Only access to 2nd level rooms are open metal stairs. If I'd known this I would have requested a lower level room. Be aware, a train runs nearby in the middle of the night, blowing its whistle. Not the fault of property, but woke us several times. I really wanted to be able to give a good review, the staff was very nice. But i wouldn't recommend.

Our room was clean, except the inside of the fridge. The parking is not the best. The grounds are very well kept and all the plants are beautiful. Should have more big garbage cans around the property. Breakfast could use a little more variety. Pool was very well kept and maintained. Would definetly stay here again and would recommend south shore inn.
