"It is good property. some of the facilities like toilets and the GYM need renovation. A buffet breakfast could be better than the ala carte specially with the language barrier. But overall it is a good lodge."

"Magnificent views from the level seven rooms and above. There is a lot of vegetation, and therefore a lot of birds, butterflies, etc. We were thrilled with all the hummingbirds we were able to see right outside our balcony. We tried the main restaurant and it was delicious. The grounds are beautiful and well while the rooms had a wonderful size and lovely beds."

"Hotel Belmar is a food and drink destination as well as being well located for enjoying all Monteverde has to offer. The staff present honest enthusiasm for all the hotel has to offer, and are welcoming and helpful. They can easily arrange taxis for you to any of the local sights (as uber doesn’t operate here). The restaurant is fantastic as well as the craft brewery and their fermented fruit wines. This was one of my favourite experiences ever."
