A Nice Hotel to Stay

Although the building is old, the overall atmosphere is very comfortable. Staff are polite and helpful. It is surprised to have breakfast provided if you are able to wake up early enough and the 24-hour beverage bar is always a nice facility. The only disappointing item is that we couldn't take any one glass of free wine even though we had spent two nights there as free wine could only be provided between 5 to 6pm; how could we come back to take it in the middle of the day while travelling in the city? It is a little bit tricky.

Sebbene la posizione sia buona per raggiungere le principali attrazioni, le foto della struttura e delle camere non rispecchiano la realtà. La nostra camera era molto piccola, vecchia, con moquette non pulitissima, muffa nel soffitto della doccia e tapparella oscurante già rotta (tanto che abbiamo cercato di aggiustarla a mano). Colazione scarsissima, con l’aggiunta del fatto che non esiste un vero e proprio salone per la colazione, ma viene allestito direttamente nella hall/ lobby dell’hotel, senza gli adeguati posti a sedere. Quindi tu ti prendi il caffè e mangi quelle poche cose disponibili esattamente di fronte al bancone della lobby. Mentre noi avevamo trovato posto per sederci, molti altri ospiti sono dovuti stare in piedi a fare colazione. Una scena pietosa secondo me. A quel punto è meglio non inserirlo nemmeno come servizio. Non vale assolutamente le 4 stelle segnate e sono stata in 3 stelle nettamente migliori di questo.

Room was cute and clean but heads up if you’re tall as the bathroom sink is very low and the toilet is very close to the bathtub. Really neat old building in a good location. Great place for the value and employees were nice.

Amazing customer service! I also like the coffee machine at the little lobby. Breakfast though not big, but efforts is shown - the donuts is a surprise!

Absolutely beautiful little gemof a hotel. I would definitely visit this hotel again. It was amazing to stay here. The service was great. The staff was hopeful.

The good - Perfect location close to city central. Rental cars (Avis) right across the street The okay - Small rooms and outdated. A lot of yelling and arguments in the alley behind the hotel. Kept us up because we needed the windows open as they have no AC

Some of the staff were more proactive than others. Ish was incredibly helpful whereas some of the others gave more attention to their cell phone than the clients. They were pleasant enough when asked but clearly their minds were miles away. The lobby was not equipped for accommodating the large numbers for breakfast and it became cramped if crowded. Other than that excellent bed comfort and room and bathroom comfort.

I searched Expedia for a 4 star with BF. this hotel came up. But it is at most a 2.5 star. As 4 star rating include spacious space and extra cleanness. My room is like a closet. the shower place is one body width big. I could hardly turn. The pillows smell so bad I could throw up. The front desk was friendly and gave me two new pillows though.

The hotel is in a wonderful location with polite and helpful staff. Some lovely details: the room had bathrobes, an ironing board, good-quality shampoos, and — most importantly — a shower with a handheld showerhead instead of one fixed to the ceiling. However, there are major downsides. The building is very old, including the furniture. The heating system is centralized and the radiators turn on automatically. To my surprise, in the middle of July, the radiator suddenly turned on at full power, making the room unbearably hot and stuffy. I went to the reception, and they promised to turn it off, but it came back on at 2 a.m., making it impossible to sleep. I ended up changing hotels. There is also no fridge in the room. You can request to store your items at the reception, which is very inconvenient. The same goes for ice — there’s no ice machine, and you have to ask at reception, where the staff would disappear to the basement to get it.

Place was near a lot of dining places. Conveniently close to 630 Jones patio bar. Staff was friendly. Only issue I had was that when at checkin, they tried to change my booking to another hotel that I didn’t not reserve for. When asked additional questions as to why my room wasn’t held onto, he just responded by okay okay I’ll check you in here… after checking everything was smooth and easy.
