This hotel looked like a very old hotel, the rooms were old, our beds were firm, but it worked for exactly what we needed it for. The elevator was an old fashion, small, close the gate type elevator, but it worked great. Pretty neat. Staff was great. Everyone enjoyed waffles for breakfast.

The place is fine if all you want is a place to sleep and get ready. I heard everything going on outside from inside my room but it did not bother me because SF is a vibrant city so I expected it. The breakfast is nothing special but it’s free and there were a few choices of things to eat. The location is great! The staff are very friendly and helpful! They make the place pleasant.

Staff was wonderful, very helpful. Hot breakfast was very good. Rooms were very clean and updated. Loved the stenciling of the mayflower everywhere. Loved the charm of the front desk, the old time elevator and the rooms Stairs in front and in back got you to lobby quickly too. Store next door and plenty of restaurants around the area.
