Parking is difficult. There is a parking structure up the road about 2 blocks so that was nice once we found it. Could have done more research. The hotel is nice. Staff is great. We opened our window for AC. We enjoyed this hotel for what we needed.

Hotel Bijou is in a great location, making it convenient to explore San Francisco and enjoy everything the city has to offer. Overall, I had a pleasant stay. However, the elevator was not working during my visit, which was quite inconvenient, especially when carrying luggage. I hope this gets addressed soon, as it definitely affects the guest experience. Aside from that, the location was a big plus!

Clean, comfortable, pretty noisy at night. In the “bad” part of town. I didn’t feel unsafe during the day. Good idea to avoid walking around town at night. Great restaurant with exceptional food & ambiance. Wonderful staff.

There was a dead bird, dirty underwear and a urine fetish kit used and deposited directly outside my bathroom window; the entire room reeked of it. The second room smelled of damp and mold after taking a shower. The staff were very nice and accommodating, but could not bear sleeping there and moved to the Hilton across the street even though I was only staying one night.

The hotel is at the edge of Tenderloin neighborhood so it can be noisy at night, but a par of ear plugs were provided and they helped us a great deal to get a sound sleep on top of jet lag. A great character receptionist helped us be at home back in San Francisco.

I thought this was a good hotel for the price and location. I would go back again. It’s one block from Powell station so it’s a quick trip on the bart basically right to your hotel. Only thing that bugged me was the show was complicated. Annoyingly so. Most places I can get an early check in for free. They wanted to charge for that but didn’t have a room anyways. Same with late. A charge. That bothered me and was a first (I travel a lot) but between the pluses and the minuses I would def stay there again

Overall it was a nice place in the downtown location. We weren't offered the complementary wine on check-in but thats not a huge deal. The room was very small but since we were only staying for 1 night it wasn't a big deal. The bedroom view was poor and I was awoken early Sunday to someone either smoking cigarettes below us or nearby and had to close my windows so I wouldn't be accused. Otherwise the staff were great and super friendly and it was easy to walk where we needed to.

First time staying here. It was a nice clean hotel. Staff was very helpful and friendly. My only complaint would be the noise of all the homeless people yelling outside till about 6:00 in the morning. We like to sleep with the window open so once we close the window it was okay. For the price it was a good hotel to stay at.
