I decided to stay at La Quinta Inn for the third time because I had good experiences in the past. Unfortunately, this last visit was very disappointing. We were informed that, in addition to the daily parking fee, we would also be charged each time we exited and re-entered the lot, which had never happened before. What used to be a hotel we liked for its location, family-friendly atmosphere, and affordability ended up being much more expensive due to the parking situation. Another issue was that after spending the day at SeaWorld, we returned to find no available parking spots. Even though cars were leaving, we were not allowed back in. We’re not from the area and were traveling with kids, so we had to drive around looking for parking, pay extra, and leave our car far from the hotel. If you’re planning to visit San Antonio by car, I highly recommend considering the parking situation before choosing this hotel. Sadly, after this experience, I won’t be staying at La Quinta Inn.
