"The hotel is located a bit of a walk to the tourist zone, where you can find restaurants and coffee shops. That said, Palenque itself has a lot of nice restaurants to choose from, and the downtown area felt safe to walk around. Personally I would stay closer to downtown next time. The hotel was nice enough, we arrived on a Thursday, and it looked like the

was not looked after. By Friday this was resolved, it seems they clean the

for the weekend crowd. We had to ask for hot water...
