「Loved it very much, My friend and I arrived very late in the night, thought it could be a issue to clock-in, while they left us the key in envelope which ensure us to enter the room. The staff are super friendly and nice, the rooms are clean, I would definately recommend this place」

「This place is magical! The rooms are very nice and super clean. The location is right in the middle of everything so you can walk to shops, restaurants or the boat cruises. There is a great little coffee/tea bar for guests and the daily continental breakfast was lovely. The restaurant is soooo good. We loved everything about our stay there.」

「I wish I would have known to ask for a room with a lake view」

「We enjoyed our stay at the super 8. Very helpful staff. Room, pool, lobby and breakfast area very clean and well maintained. Nice decor in our room. Would recommend this hotel visiting the Ashland, WI area.」

「It's a lovely location on Lake Superior.」

「The tub/shower drain was plugged, it had been plugged prior because it immediately backed up with water. Hair and crude came up out of the drain. I reported it early to the front desk on our first morning of a two night stay. As of when we left it had not been fixed. We let the front desk know again.」

「The room was exceptional and so was the view. Awesome design of room and shower」

「We were looking for a low budget room just for the night. We were impressed with how newly renovated and updated it was. It was small but had what we needed including coffee and snacks. It is right by the road so keep in mind that the traffic can be heard throughout the night. Would happily sleep here again.」

「The cottage looks nice in photos and they do keep it as clean as they can; however, it is very rundown. We were bothered by the strong smell of fabric softener (gives us migraines) and mildew. The beds were uncomfortable, the bathroom narrow and dark, and overall, we just had “the creeps” the whole time. So much so that we left early. Honestly, we expected more for the price. You can find better options in the area for what we paid.」

「Karaoke in the bar is horrible for casino players. Sound too loud and no talented singers! Not enough staff in restaurant.」

「We rented the place for a girls weekend and the location was absolutely perfect. Beautiful view of the lake and within walking distance of all the shops and restaurants. The only downside was the awkward seating with uncomfortable furniture in the living area and a lack of amenities in the kitchenette. There were no coffee cups and a wine fridge rather than a small fridge/freezer meant we had no ice. All in all a lovely stay and would be even better with a few changes!」
