「Really unique with an outstanding lake view. The sunset last night was simply stunning from room 1. Very nicely furnished and very clean. We enjoyed having breakfast sandwiches at the on site cafe. I suggest you supply cushions for the chairs on the balcony. My only criticism is the Murphy bed. It was very uncomfortable and I moved to the couch in the middle of the night. The Murphy beds would be fine for kids but not for guests who are 60+. The king bed was very comfortable.」

「This motel sets the bar for cleanliness. The decor may be a little dated, but it is amazingly clean -- not a spec of dust or dirt anywhere to be seen -- it is spotless. After a couple of nights in other national chain hotels where we were wearing our shoes around the rooms because they felt dirty, the Cedars Inn was a welcome respite. 100% recommend and we will absolutely stay again when we are in the area.」

「Although it was a brief stay, everything about the room was in good working order. I was surprised it was not busier for a Saturday night but most likely not the ideal time to be touring for most people prior to the snow-sports and after fall colors. The property was easy to find and I appreciated a simple key versus electronic swipe cards so I could leave door unlocked for loading/unloading.
