「The hotel lived up to our expectations and was ideal as a centre from which to tour that part of France. The one small drawback was that it was a little out of the centre of Azay-le-Rideau to which it took a good 15 minutes to walk.」

「Lovely breakfast in the courtyard all made from local produce」

「Very friendly staff and a warm welcome for us and our bikes on arrival and we appreciated the option of having dinner on site as it was pouring rain. The dinner was excellent and tasty even though not cooked on the premises. We appreciated the use of the kettle downstairs in the lobby but would have like one in the room. 「Bon accueil très professionnel et sympathique. L'hôtel mérite peut-être un petit rafraîchissement . Bon petit déjeuner .」

「Just a pleasure to go there as always」

「Our room was very comfortable. The bathroom was large and clean and newly done. The property was beautiful, but rundown. It was out in the country」

「Great value. Good choice. Verypleased」

「Lovely spot, staff excellent, homemade, organic and locally sourced breakfast. Lacked an evening restaurant and options in Chinon in October were a little limited as off season. Great location to explore Chinon wines and Cremant near Saumur. Fontevraud-l’Abbaye was an interesting place to visit.」
