「Highly recommend this hotel. You will not be disappointed. Its worth the slight inconvenience of having to park in one of the 3 or 4 nearby car parks which are run by bandits.」

「This is an ancient, historic hotel. Be mindful of the fact that you are staying here more for the character and historical significance then for the comfort. Stairways are small and steep and parking - went available at all - is challenging. That said, however, the staff is very friendly and helpful and we enjoyed our one night stay.」

「Unser Zimmer war recht klein, wo gefühlt lange keine große Grundreinigung mehr durchgeführt wurde (viel Staub auf den Ablagen und kleine Dreckspritzer an der Badezimmertür). Das Frühstück war hingegen sehr gut. 」

「Clean, everything you need, walking distance to beach, nice and quiet. Would be 5 star except sofa smells, plant overgrown on entrance to property and back door very stiff and hard to lock. Lovely little estate of pretty houses」

「I was disappointed with this stay. For the amount of money it cost, the caravan was not clean, was overcrowded and needs a lot of smarting up. You had to pay extra to have bedding which I think is unreasonable, particularly how much it cost per night anyway. Communication with the host was fine but not great. Unfortunately I won’t be recommending or returning to this property. 」

「Beds are huge and the staff are jolly and helpful providing excellent service. Communal lounge, dining room and grounds all kept really nice. Spa is more functional than luxurious but good for the price. Only negatives were: - both me and my friends eggs at breakfast tasted very vinegar-y. - Each time the extractor fan was on in my room it was drawing in bad smells eg sewage and cabbage cooking smells. However overall we really enjoyed our stay and are grateful to the staff for making it...

「Battle is a very small town; having the helpful hotel staff in the neighborhood is certainly a plus. This building has existed as of the 16th century, and it's been properly maintained and apparently renovated in the toilet/bathroom.」
