「It was an old characterful building with many original features. It was evident from the certificates and photos around the place that it had been a hotel & restaurant of note with award winning credentials. It isn’t a shiny glitzy hotel but equally the decor was quite tired and patched up in places. 「Parking can be difficult and CCTV in operation. Staff could have been better, kept being locked out of our room. Unfortunately 1 breakfast was poor no eggs and mushrooms not cooked. Not sure if we shall return 」
