Close to the center of Onomichi, so it was easy to find places to eat or shop. The communication with staffs was smooth, and the check-in instructions were pretty clear. • Kitchen area was small, but I didn't cook during my stay so cannot really comment it.」

「Read some negative comments from various hotels booking website, have struggled to book it or not, but there are not really many hotels / ryokans in Onomichi. Anyway, the reality is, starting from the check in till check out, we are very satisfied and amazed. We need to give it a fair comment to support the staff there. 「Just across the street to JR station, pier is just under the hotel, super convenient. Walkable distance to local temple and main shopping street. Seaview provided. Even have free massage chair provided. Only problem is the Wi-Fi is weak. Staff are nice and friendly. 」

「When is a resort not a resort? In this case, when it doesn't provide any facilities outside the room. There's a rooftop bar in summer but nothing at other times. Staff were pleasant but breakfast was limited and when we asked for a second cup of coffee we had to pay for it. The room is large but was taken up by 4 double futons and a massive hanging screen for projecting TV/video. We felt it was intended for a large group who wanted to watch DVDs all day. The cost would have been fine split 8...
