「The indoor pool was quite small and tended to be very busy with children, so it wasn’t the most relaxing experience. However, the room itself was spacious and very comfortable, with Molton Brown toiletries provided, and having a bath in the room was a lovely touch. The cooked breakfast was also excellent and really enjoyable each morning. That said, I do think the property could benefit from some general maintenance and updating in certain areas.」

「Rooms had very little sound insulation, was woken up multiple times in the night with doors banging, someone in the interconnecting room switched the TV on ridiculously loud at 1am and then was woken in the morning by someone being sick multiple times in the neighbouring room. Won’t stay again..」

「Beautiful location and property very nice but can't believe there is no lift / elevator in the building. Disappointing breakfast offering. Two breakfast buffet offerings advertised, continental £12.95 and hot £16.95 but on the first day there was no hot buffet. Hot food was ordered a la carte from the kitchen (plated) and price remained £16.95 regardless of what was ordered. Surely pricing should have been adjusted. Overall a very pleasant stay but if you're a senior or someone with disabilities...

「Excellent staff, very helpful and polite. The only problem I had was that drawing the curtains in my room was very challenging as the rings on the curtain pole didn’t glide smoothly and you had to wrench the curtain closed and open. Food was excellent and the room was quiet overlooking a peaceful garden. A good 4 out of 5.」

「The Owners and staff were lovely, Lynn was so helpful and went out of her way. Lynn, Ruby and the handsome Joe was a delight to talk to. Very welcoming and up for a chat, great company when feeling lonely or just want to socialize. The bedroom felt relaxing and the curtians were great at keeping out the cold. Breakfast was delicious and filling. The place is within a walking distance from the train station about a minute at most. Food is not allowed in the bedrooms just as a heads up and...
